How the +4 sizing method works
1. Measure your underbust: Measure snugly around your ribcage, directly below your bust.
2. Add 4 inches: Add 4 inches to your underbust measurement to determine your starting band size. The result is rounded to the nearest available even band size.
3. Measure your overbust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust without pulling the tape tightly.
4. Determine your cup: Compare your overbust measurement with your calculated band size. The difference between the two measurements determines the cup size shown in the chart.

Important:
The traditional +4 method is used as a starting point for determining your band size. Your final fit may vary depending on body shape, breast shape, measurement technique, and personal comfort.

If your measurements fall between sizes, or your usual bra size is different from the calculator's recommendation, use the recommended size as a starting point.

Bra size labels are not direct garment measurements. The fit of each bra can also vary depending on fabric stretch, construction, and design.
